On February 3, 2026, the Association of German-American Centers (AGAC) launched its new digital event series “Half an Hour with…” with a discussion featuring Dr. Eric Langenbacher, Teaching Professor in the Department of Government at Georgetown University and Director of the Society, Culture and Politics Program at the American-German Institute. Moderated by Viktoria Harbecke, Chair of the AGAC and Managing Director of AmerikaHaus NRW, the conversation reflected on the first year of the second Trump presidency and its far-reaching consequences for German-American relations.
