This joint information session is presented by AmerikaHaus NRW in cooperation with Marywood University, Pennsylvania, a comprehensive Catholic university in Pennsylvania known for its supportive environment and strong focus on professional preparation, and Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), Virginia, a premier public research university in Richmond recognized for its innovation and wide range of academic programs.

The session will take place online via zoom on June 22 at 5 pm. 

Our guest speakers are Cindy Han, International Admission Coordinator from Marywood University and Alinah-Noelle Alegre, Coordinator of International Student Recruitment from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Designed for German students interested in STEM education in the United States, the session will highlight key benefits of studying Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), including hands-on learning, research opportunities, innovation-driven curricula, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Participants will also gain insights into STEM-designated degree programs, internships, and Optional Practical Training (OPT) opportunities in the U.S. In addition, representatives will briefly cover application procedures, scholarships, and student life.

The session will be held in English.
