Loretta Sanchez (1997-2017)
Democrat
Former Member of the US House of Representatives
from California's 46th/47th District

Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez held senior positions on the Armed Services and the Homeland Security Committee where she negotiated budgets, provided needed oversight on agencies and programs, and assisted in developing policies related to treaties. She is a recognized leader in international affairs, national security, counterterrorism, and nuclear proliferation/nonproliferation matters.

Dr. Charles Boustany (2005-2017)
Republican
Former Member of the US House of Representatives
from Louisiana's 7th/3rd District

During his 12 years in Congress, Dr. Charles Boustany served on the influential House Ways and Means Committee and was Chairman of the Subcommittee on Tax Policy. As a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, Dr. Boustany established himself as an expert and leader on tax, trade, health care, and entitlement policy. Boustany was a co-founder of the Friends of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Caucus, co-founder of the House Doctors Caucus, and a co-chair of the bipartisan U.S.-China Working Group.
